UI remarks - Font Size

Well I just went into the month view of the calendar and the days of the week are 3/4 of an inch tall. Do they need to be this big

Also in the mail navigator, I feel we could get a lot more entries displayed if the font size were smaller.

However, everything looks great, but I don't need to be able to read the entries from 8 feet away....

Do however notice a lot of screen refreshing/flickering when performing some tasks. Will things get better.

My PC is knocking on a bit but its an Athlon 1800+ with 768Mb RAM so is not that bad.
